PCP2P pre-ride

Saturday was a great day. We rode 51 miles with just under 7,000 feet of climbing. I turned my computer off twice, so I missed a few miles, but you get the idea with my Strava file. With an alpine start (6:30 for mtb bikers) we started on Skid Row, finished at Shadow Lake, and stayed on the PCP2P course as much as possible. The upper Deer Valley trails are going to be ridden differently this year. Jay (the PCP2P race director) sent me his best guess of where we'd be riding.  We rode Bouler, as Jay told us to, but I'm not sure if it was the right part of the trail. If it is, beware racers. It is BUMPY. Not exactly fun bumpy either. It's like the new cut section of Mid-mountain but steeper. That trail made me decide that I will be riding my full suspension bike. At least I'm 95% sure.
We kept a nice pace and limited stops and kept the stoke high. We finished strong and happy and stoked to have spent over 6 hours pedaling Park City single track!

Take a deep breath and look around-this is my heaven!

Post-ride; dust all over everything!
