Realization hit that my parents backyard was the perfect place to practice the drills I learned at the Better Ride skills camp I took last December. It's just a few short days until I race at the XC National Championships and my skills need to be sharp! Let's hope the backyard training helps. I tried to not rip up the grass too much by the lilac bush, sorry Dad, it's all in hopes of improving my right downhill turn. Worth it for a patch of grass, yes!
